Meon Springs - About Us

A Unique Blend of Farming and Rural Hospitality

Nestled within the breathtaking South Downs National Park, Meon Springs is part of Whitewool Farm, a thriving, diversified farming business run by brothers Will and Jamie Butler. Spanning over 1,000 acres, the farm has been in the Butler family since 1930, evolving over the years to embrace both traditional farming and a range of outdoor experiences for visitors.

A Place to Relax, Reconnect & Explore

The non-farming side of Meon Springs has grown into a peaceful retreat, welcoming individuals, families, and corporate groups looking to escape the pressures of modern life. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, guests can enjoy:

With its calm, rural atmosphere and stunning landscapes, Meon Springs provides the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy quality time with family, friends, and colleagues.

Meon Springs also runs an extensive Self Storage business, with indoor containers and 24/7 drive up access in a very secure location.

A Commitment to Sustainable Farming

The farming side of Whitewool Farm is a mix of dairy and arable, where modern agricultural practices go hand in hand with environmental sustainability. The farm follows a naturally productive approach by:

  • Improving soil health and biodiversity to create a more resilient ecosystem

  • Encouraging natural predators to flourish, reducing reliance on agrochemicals

  • Merging traditional methods with innovative techniques for a more sustainable future

Through this balanced approach, Meon Springs is not only a working farm but also a place where visitors can connect with the land, learn about farming, and experience the beauty of rural Hampshire.
