The lakes are stocked with high-quality rainbow trout (2lbs+) for catch-and-take, while the catch-and-release section will provide a challenge to test you and refine your technique and with a tackle shop and on site café, everything you need is right here.

You can even turn your day fishing into a fishing break by booking a Shepherd’s Hut by the lakes, or stay with family and friends in our Yurt Village.

Enjoy a full day of fishing with our Day Fishing Tickets, available to book up until 8am on the day.
Or, in summer, our Evening Fishing Tickets let you fish from 2pm to 9:30pm (or dusk), offering a relaxing evening escape with great fishing conditions.

Meon Springs Fishing School is dedicated to providing excellent tuition throughout your fishing journey.
Our experienced instructors will guide you from catching your first fish to becoming a competent angler and being able to cast an elegant line and tangle with the most challenging trout.
You can choose from a number of tuition options. As an absolute beginner book an Experience Day, where you will be fishing as part of a small group on the same journey.
For untangling specific problems book a "One to One". And for a longer learning session to move to the next level of angling expertise, for one or two people - book a Taster Session. We also have options for children.
Meon Springs Fishery Club is a terrific opportunity to meet and socialise with fellow anglers. You also benefit from discounts and regular club meets and gatherings. Meon Springs Fishery is a very friendly club that welcomes all levels and experiences.


Why not stay over in a Shepherd's Hut right by the lake. These double bed Shepherd's Huts. equipped with kitchen and shower are sophisticated and comfortable making your stay, on your own or with a partner, most enjoyable.
For four people, book Hawthorn, which consists of two huts that can be made up as four singles or two doubles. For larger groups, stay at the Yurt Village, where up to six families can book the whole site.
And for those with campervans or tents, please drop an email to the fishery office to find out availability and options.
Trout Fishing Days

Meon Springs Fishery has a fly-fishing shop, which stocks everything you need for your fly-fishing experience, including starter rod kits, flies, leaders, lines, priests, and much more. Expert advice on hand.

Fishing Holidays
Book one of the six Shepherd's Huts (sleeps two people or four people) positioned by the water's edge. Or stay at the Yurt Village, a short walk away from the Fishery. Camping and motorhome pitches available to anglers by special arrangement.
